1. Introduction
Dream Blend Solutions Private Limited ("we", "us") operates AjonTec Billing. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights available to you.

We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. Data we collect
Account data: your name, business name, email address, mobile number, and the password you set (stored only in encrypted form).
Business data: the information you enter while using the Service, such as customer and supplier details, products, invoices, purchases, payments and reports.
Payment data: when you subscribe, payment is processed by a payment gateway. We receive only the transaction reference and status. We do not store your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and log records, kept for security and troubleshooting.

3. Why we use it
To create and operate your account.
To provide the Service and its features, including invoices, reports and reminders.
To process subscription payments and issue GST invoices.
To provide support when you contact us.
To detect and prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents.
To comply with legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

4. Your customers' data
When you enter your customers' details into the Service, you are the data fiduciary for that information and we act as a data processor on your behalf. We process it only on your instructions and only to provide the Service to you.

5. Sharing
We share data only where necessary:
with hosting and infrastructure providers that operate our servers;
with payment gateways, to process your subscription payment;
with SMS, WhatsApp or email providers, when you choose to send documents or reminders to your customers;
with government portals, when you choose to use features such as e-invoicing, e-way bills or GST returns;
where required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.

Each provider is permitted to use the data only for the specific purpose for which it was shared.

6. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers located in India. We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive credentials, access controls, and audit logging.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act.

7. Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After your account is closed, data is retained for a further ninety (90) days so that it can be restored if the closure was in error, and is then deleted.

Certain records, such as invoices for subscription payments, are retained for the period required under Indian tax law.

8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may:
ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is processed;
ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements;
withdraw consent that you have previously given;
nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;
raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.

9. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to function, such as keeping you logged in and protecting forms from automated abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children.

11. Changes
We may update this Policy. The revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and material changes will be notified to you by email or within the Service.
